Let’s all shed a tiny tear for love’s young dream…
Ever since Joe Jonas - aka the 'Brow-heaviest of Jonas brothers - broke up with his female BFF/girlfriend Demi Lovato, we've been wondering (out loud sometimes) if this means he's become THE "Serial Teen Celeb heartbreaker" of 2008/'09/'10?
First things first, let's examine their breakup words. Joe's since said:
"It could have been better timing, But there's never really a good time for something like that. I really care about her. In this business. It's really hard to find people who are going to be there for the rest of your life. When I met Demi, I knew right away that our friendship was really strong. I don't want to lose that ever."
Also, in a statement to US Mag Joe confirmed he DUMPED ended the relationship with Demi saying:
"Demi and I knew going into our romantic relationship that it may not be an easy one. I realize over the time we have shared together that I feel I care more about our friendship right now. It was my choice to breakup, but I love her as a friend. She's been there for me when I needed her. I will continue to be her friend and be there for her."
Awww, poor girl! Moving on... Demi's post-breakup words:
"We haven't spent any time together since everything because that would be awkward, but I'm sure things will go totally back to normal once we're on tour together. It's just that at this point I'd rather be hanging out with my girlfriends than seeing my ex."
She also tweeted:
"There are so many crazy rumors flying around today, Joe and I did split, but it wasn't over the phone. Things didn't work out but we'll remain friends."
Jeez, this is the 3rd famous girlfriend Joe's dumped broken up with after just dating for what seems like minutes... So who do you think is next on Joe's 'rising-Starlet-to-date-THEN-dump' List?
